The basic physical test for SSW Batch 2 candidates in Bogor City.
After the information session, candidates who committed to joining the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program took a basic physical test as the first step of selection.
The test covered height and weight measurement, a check for tattoos and piercings, and a strength test of lifting a weight 20 times, applied equally to men and women.
“This physical test is not a formality. It is an initial screening to make sure participants are fit, healthy, and ready for Japanese work standards, which value agility and professionalism.”
The main purpose of the test is to make sure participants are physically ready for the demands of the Japanese workplace, which is known for high standards of efficiency and professionalism. This way, they can adapt quickly and perform at their best when working abroad.
The physical test was held on 19 June 2025 at the Bogor City Job Training Center (BLK) and was attended by nearly 50 applicants from various regions. The test ran in an orderly and enthusiastic atmosphere, reflecting how seriously the participants are preparing for an international career. Besides being part of the selection, the test was also an important moment to measure their physical readiness before technical training and the skills exams that are an integral part of the SSW program.
