Interviews with Batch 2 candidates of the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program in Bogor City.
Candidates who passed the basic physical test moved on to an interview in Indonesian with the LPK and IJBNet. The interviews were held on 24–25 June 2025 in Bogor City to learn more about each candidate's personal and professional background.
Candidates were asked about their education, work history, family situation, and their motivation to work in Japan. It was a valuable chance for them to explain why they left their jobs in Indonesia to focus seriously on preparing for an international career.
Interestingly, many candidates are married yet still showed strong commitment to working in Japan, even though it means being apart from their loved ones for a while. Besides economic reasons, a deep interest in Japanese culture, from anime and films to food, was another motivation. Above all, the candidates see Japan as an advanced country with modern technology, good income, and a disciplined, efficient society.

This combination of cultural interest and professional ambition strengthens the candidates' resolve to move forward in the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program.
