The launch of the 2nd Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) class at the UPTD BLK hall, Bogor City.
On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, the launch of the 2nd Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) class of Bogor City was held at the hall of UPTD BLK Bogor City. The event began at 13.00 WIB and was attended by representatives of the Bogor City Manpower Office and our Japanese partner, Gakken.
The event opened with the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, followed by remarks from the Head of the Bogor City Manpower Office and a representative of Gakken. Copies of the book “Minna no Nihongo” were then symbolically handed over to two student representatives to support Japanese language learning in the program.
“We hope this launch will be a concrete step toward improving the skills and competitiveness of Bogor City's workforce through the Specified Skilled Worker program, in cooperation with our Japanese partner.”
The highlight was a symbolic ribbon cutting by the Head of the Bogor City Manpower Office and the Gakken representative, officially opening the 2nd SSW class. The event closed with a group photo.
