After the interview stage, candidates who passed moved on to the next selection step: a basic math test and a psychological test. Both tests were held on 8 July 2025, at the same time in two rooms at the Bogor City Job Training Center (BLK).
In the first session, candidates answered 25 basic math questions in 30 minutes. The test assesses their basic cognitive skills, which helps instructors plan a suitable training approach during the learning period.
“The basic math and psychological tests do not only assess academic ability. They also reveal each candidate's psychological strengths as preparation for the challenges of working in Japan.”
Next, candidates took a digital psychological test guided by the LPK. Before starting, they registered and logged in to the exam platform. Like the math test, the psychological test also lasted 30 minutes.
The test is designed to identify each candidate's character and psychological strengths, which can affect how well they handle the challenges of a professional Japanese workplace. After completing both tests, candidates went home to wait for the results of the next selection step.
